EAST PRAIRIE -- Ida May Cooper, 62, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Holcomb, Miss.
Survivors include her husband, Wash; five sons, Jesse and Walter Cooper of Sikeston, Dennie Cooper of Denver, Colo., Wash Cooper Jr. of Petersburg, Va., Larry Cooper of Saudi Arabia; five daughters, Dora Brown of East Prairie, Lula Bankhead of Memphis, Tenn., Geraldine Bigham of Charleston, Oce Lee of Kalamazoo, Mich., Lue Kemp of Detroit, Mich.; two stepsons, Demsy and Jerry Cooper of Memphis; a sister, Lillie Pittman of Milwaukee, Wis.; 21 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sparks Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. R.B. Johnson will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-8 tonight.
