SIKESTON -- Ida Geneva Morgan, 72, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Lawrence County, Tenn., daughter of Frank and Pearlie Mae Ray Ricketts. She married John Morgan July 15, 1942, in Lawrence County.
Morgan moved here three years ago from Oran.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Elton Morgan of Columbia, Tenn., Kenneth Morgan of Scott City, Delbert Morgan of Sikeston, Stanley Morgan of El Granada, Calif., Dean Morgan of Moberly; a daughter, Bernice Bain of Mesler; two brothers, Joe Ricketts of Leoma, Tenn., Melvin Ricketts of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two sisters, Mae Cole of Forest City, N.C., Louise Reinhardt of Warren, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchilren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother, sister and grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Bruce Butler will officiate, with burial in Friend Cemetery at Oran.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
