IDA ANN JOHNSON

CHAFFEE -- Ida Ann Johnson, 79, of Chaffee died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, at her home.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1918, at Ste. Genevieve, Ill., the daughter of George William and Ida May Strickland Ehrheart. She married Tony Carroll Dec. 30, 1929. He died in 1953. She married Elzy Clark Johnson Sept. 20, 1956. He died Jan. 11, 1974.

Johnson was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rockview.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Carroll of St. Louis and Donnie Carroll of Jackson; a daughter, Shirley Childers of Chaffee; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death a son, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call today after noon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the funeral at 2 at the funeral home. The Rev. Luther Thorne will officiate. Burial will be at Belk Hill Cemetery in Rockview.
