BLOOMFIELD -- Hulbert T. Welch, 69, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Hickman, Ark., son of Hulbert and Ozella Metzger Welch. He and Ruby Potts were married Dec. 3, 1948.
Welch, formerly of Michigan and Oak Ridge, moved here six years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Rhonda Walker of Bloomfield, Linda Chadd of Jackson, Robin Welch of the home; five brothers, Niles and Gene Welch of Orange Cove, Calif., John Welch of Red Bud, Calif., Jerry Welch of San Jose, Calif., Paul Welch of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Opal Guyer of Dinuba, Calif., Billie Boyd of Orange Cove, Zereda Baker of Central Point, Ore.; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Frank Monroe officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
