HUGO DOERING

ALTENBURG -- Hugo Otto Doering, 89, of Altenburg, died Sunday, July 21, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 26, 1906, in Wittenberg, son of Adolph and Anna Richter Doering. He and Bertha Susanna Kuntze were married April 29, 1934.

Doering was a butcher at Fischer's Store. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here and its Trinity Bible Class.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mary Mudd of St. Peters, Pauline Fadler of Owensville, Vivian Lueders of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 6-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. Willard Kassulke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
