WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Hugh H. Held, 85, of Wolf Lake, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1995, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1910, in Commerce, Mo., son of Henry and Christine Sanders Held.
Held had been a farmer and construction worker. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Grace Cox of Clarington, Texas, Ethel Koelzer of Cape Girardeau, and a brother, Allen Held of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor David Kollmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery.
