Hubert T. Sebastian, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home. He was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Henry W. and Rosa Birk Sebastian. He and Lillian M. Walker were married April 15, 1949, at Tilsit. She died March 5, 1989...

Hubert T. Sebastian, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Henry W. and Rosa Birk Sebastian. He and Lillian M. Walker were married April 15, 1949, at Tilsit. She died March 5, 1989.

Sebastian was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Kelvin Sebastian of Bethlehem, Israel, Keith Sebastian of Jackson; a sister, Rosina Poe of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
