McGEE -- Hubert M. James, 73, of McGee died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born Nov. 10, 1925, at Zalma, son of William and Myrtle Pittman James. He and Eula Wills were married Jan. 24, 1953, in Piggott, Ark.
James was a mechanic at Ford Motor Co. in St. Louis and then at Bud Shell Ford in Dexter. He was a member of Zalma Masonic Lodge. James served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Wilbert James of St. Louis, Lee James of Chesterfield; three sisters, Millie Jerrell of Dexter, Beulah Kerston of Tulsa, Okla., and Modean Kitchens of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by a son, a sister, and a brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-8 p.m today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Bill Sargent officiating. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery near Zalma.
