CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Hubert Scott Burton Sr., 58, of Chaffee passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at the family home.
He was born Dec. 29, 1955, at Dexter, Mo., to the late Herbert Scott and Mary Loretta Edwards Burton. He married Sheila Brashears on July 11, 1986.
Hubert was owner and operator of Rightway Pest Control in Chaffee. He was a member of Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila of the home; two sons, Jason (fiancee Kim Dodge) Burton of St. Louis and Scott (Misty) Burton of Advance, Mo.; three grandchildren, Sarah and Katie Burton and Ashley McPherson; a brother, Steve Burton of Morley, Mo.; three sisters, Carolyn Coram of Lowndes, Mo., Debbie Essner of Jackson and Lorie Daniels of Lowndes.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Scott.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. An Elks service will be held at 6:30.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gary Burns officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
