DUTCHTOWN -- Funeral for Hubert N. Amelunke of Clayton, La., was held Wednesday at First Lutheran Church. William D. Gassett officiated, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Laird Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Amelunke, 62, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at his home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1937, at Dutchtown, son of Leo and Elma Painter Amelunke Sr. He married Shirley Tipton.
Amelunke served a number of years in Missouri National Guard.
He had lived in Louisiana since 1966, and was a longtime employee of Louisiana Farm Bureau. He was owner/operator of Amelunke Realty.
Amelunke was a charter member of First Lutheran Church, and member of Louisiana Realtors Association.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Debbie Temple, Dawn Smith and Darla Johnston, all of Vidalia, La.; four stepdaughters, Donna Morace and Misty Tipton of Vidalia, Lori Dixon of Cohutta, Ga., Mindy Grayson of Clayton; and a stepson, James Tipton of Dalton, Ga.
Also surviving are four brothers, Leo, Bob and Glen Amelunke of Cape Girardeau, Eldon Amelunke of Phoenix, Ariz.; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
