Howard W. Blank, 83, of 1107 Bloomfield Road died Monday, June 19, 1995, at the Cape Nursing Center. He was born July 7, 1911, at St. Louis, son of William J. and Rose Marie Bank Blank. Howard W. Blank, 83, of 1107 Bloomfield Road died Monday, June 19, 1995, at the Cape Nursing Center.
He was born July 7, 1911, at St. Louis, son of William J. and Rose Marie Bank Blank.
He moved to Cape Girardeau at the age of 2. He was involved in farming and worked for Alfred Halter Grocery Co. and Superior Electric Co., from which he retired.
On April 27, 1935, he married Stella Graden at St. Mary's Church. She survives.

Other survivors are one sister, Irene Niederkorn of New Hamburg.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lorberg Funeral Chapel, where parish prayers will be said at 7 tonight.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral by Monsignor Richard Rolwing. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
