JONESBORO, Ill. -- Howard Frick, 70, of Jonesboro died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born June 13, 1931, at Jonesboro to Concy and Flora Reynolds Frick. He married Alice Mae Shipley on Jan. 14, 1956.

He was a retired farmer.

A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the McClure, Ill., American Legion and a Anna VFW Post 3455.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debbie Poole of Jonesboro; a son, Michael Wayne Frick of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mary Brown and Ermael Michaels of Anna; two brothers Lester Frick and Leon Frick of Jonesboro; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A brother preceded him in death.

Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery.
