SCOTT CITY -- Howard F. Clover, 83, of Scott City, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Grand Tower, Ill., son of Eli Calvin "Dick" and Josephine Rhodes Clover. He and Vivian Mezo were married Oct. 24, 1938.
Clover was a retired farmer. He moved to Scott City in 1994.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Howard Clover of Grand Tower, Lester and Calvin Clover of Scott City; a sister, Wanda Nation of Grand Tower; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren, and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Grand Tower from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Grammer officiating. Burial will be in Walker Hill Cemetery at Grand Tower.
