He and Ocie Pearl Draper were married July 18, 1944, at Corning, Arkansas. She preceded him in death Nov. 14, 1991. He married Anna Marie Gosnell McCullough on May 21, 1992...

Howard A. Clary, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Lutheran Home.

He was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Bloomfield, Missouri, to Jack M. and Stella Hopkins Clary. He and Ocie Pearl Draper were married July 18, 1944, at Corning, Arkansas. She preceded him in death Nov. 14, 1991. He married Anna Marie Gosnell McCullough on May 21, 1992.

Howard served in the Army.

He worked at Hart's Bread and Bunny Bread.

He enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing and CB radios. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Marie Clary of Cape Girardeau; sons, David (Carolyn) Clary of Jackson and Jimmy Dwayne (Judy) Clary of South Port, North Carolina; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ocie Pearl Clary; three brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
