BLOOMFIELD -- Houston Clark, 75, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1992, at Doctor's Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born May 13, 1917, at Center, Ala., the son of John William and Tymae Sanders Clark. On June 23, 1938, he married Lottie Armstrong, who survives of the home.
In 1951 he moved from Arkansas to Bloomfield, where he was a self-employed entrepreneur and farmer.
Other survivors include a son, Doyle Clark of Dexter; five daughters, Wanda Whittenburg of Denver, Colo., Louise Boyles of Bloomfield, Sue Byrd of Judsonia, Ark., Kathy Bowling of Bloomfield and Sandra Beckman of Panama City, Panama; three sisters, Elizabeth Hansen of Jonesboro, Ark., Annie Presley of Dexter and Aselee Reeser of Union City, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A brother and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate, and burial will be in the Lick Creek Cemetery near Bloomfield.
