FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Homer B. Wilburn, 94, of Farmington, formerly of Advance, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 7, 1906, at East Prairie, Mo., son of Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Sweet Wilburn. He married Grace E. Nelson.
Wilburn served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Homer Wilburn Jr. of Farmington, James Wilburn of Jackson, Mich.; two daughters, Carolyn Bien of Chesterfield, Mo., Mary Green of Farmington; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home in Farmington from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
