PERRYVILLE -- Homer L. Roy, 82, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 12, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 22, 1913, at Perryville, son of Harold L. and Anna Prost Roy.
He managed Rozier's Mercantile variety store before retirement. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at Perryville.
He and Marcella E. Moll were married April 14, 1941, at Kansas City.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Homer Roy Jr. of Perryville; and a brother, W. Joe Roy of Huntington Beach, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home at Perryville. Parish wake will be at 7 tonight.
Friends also may call from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
The Rev. Charles Rice will officiate, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery at Perryville.
