ORAN -- Homer King, 73, of Oran, died Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1922, at Delta, son of George and Delia Young King. He and Judith LeGrand were married May 12, 1955.
King was a retired mechanic with the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Morley VFW Post 5368. King served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Nina Mills of Sikeston; a brother, Floyd King of Mountain Grove, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
