SIKESTON -- Homer E. "Bo" Hamman, 83, of Sikeston, died Sunday, April 25, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 16, 1909, in Millersburg, Ind., son of Alva and Ella Hamman. He and Helen Baker were married Feb. 22, 1946, in Memphis, Tenn.
Hamman was a self-employed blacksmith in Lilbourn many years. He was a member of the Sea Bees during World War II. He had lived in Sikeston since 1975.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Barbara Blackston of Belleville, Ill., and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gary Carter will officiate, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
