FROHNA, Mo. -- Funeral for Hilmer Ottomar Lorenz of Frohna will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg, Mo. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery at Perryville, Mo., with graveside rites by American Legion Post 133.
Friends may call at the chapel from 6:30 a.m. until service time.
Lorenz, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born July 20, 1919, at Wittenberg, Mo., son of Alfred C. and Ella A. Doering Lorenz.
Lorenz was a machine operator at Wagner Electric. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
