ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Hilda Flora Meinz, 86, of Altenburg died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1914, at New Wells, Mo., daughter of Theodore and Margaret Hemmann Koch. She and Rudolph J. Meinz were married Jan. 24, 1937. He died March 25, 1992...

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Hilda Flora Meinz, 86, of Altenburg died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 23, 1914, at New Wells, Mo., daughter of Theodore and Margaret Hemmann Koch. She and Rudolph J. Meinz were married Jan. 24, 1937. He died March 25, 1992.

Meinz was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Altenburg.

Survivors include three sons, Edward Meinz of Farmington, Mo., and Marvin Meinz and Delbert Meinz, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Elsie Schuessler of New Wells and Jeanette Bergman of Perryville, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Young & Sons Funeral Home East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4-9 p.m. today and 6:30-8 a.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
