Funeral service for Hilda M. Hardecke of Sullivan was held Tuesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Sullivan. The Rev. Larry Tieman officiated, with burial in Schmidt Cemetery.
Eaton Funeral Home at Sullivan was in charge of arrangements.
Hardecke, 89, died Sunday, July 23, 1995.
She was born Nov. 23, 1905, near Sullivan, daughter of Louis John and Elizabeth Mueller Riske. She and George Hardecke were married Aug. 8, 1926.
Hardecke was a member of St. Matthew's Church and charter member of its Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include two sons, Maurice and Ralph Hardecke of Sullivan; a brother, Fred Riske of Shenandoah, Iowa; six sisters, Alberta Heimbaugh of Cape Girardeau, Leona Hoehne of Brazeau, Nadine Riske of St. Louis, Elnora Merritt of Solon Springs, Wis., Lydia Hennig of Kilowna, British Columbia, Edith Koch of Bourbon; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
