FREDERICKTOWN -- Hilda W. Lape, 94, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1996, at Cla Ru Ville Health Care Center in Fredericktown.

She was born Oct. 6, 1901, in Dutchtown, daughter of George H. and Sophia Keochig Obermann.

She married Albert E. Lape on March 29, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1976.

Survivors include her son Woodrow W. Obermann of Fredericktown, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and two brothers.

Visitation was Monday at the Ford & Sons Funeral Home Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Services will be held 10 a.m. today at Ford & Sons Funeral Home Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will be at Gieser Cemetery in Dutchtown.
