ADVANCE -- Hilda Eggimann, 89, of Advance, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Dutchtown, daughter of H.W.A. and Lillie Muster Wessell.
On Dec. 29, 1929, she married Clarence Eggimann in Gordonville. He died Feb. 16, 1988.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Gordonville. She was baptized March 19, 1905, and confirmed March 24, 1918.
Survivors are two sons, Jerry and Weldon Eggimann, both of Advance; two daughters, Verna Veale, Advance, and Donna Smith, Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Bud Wessell, Gordonville, Clarence Wessell, Chaffee, and George Wessell, Jackson; two sisters, Ida Sander and Louise Nussbaum, both of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and four sisters.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Gordonville.
