Hettie Mae Crites, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born April 19, 1909, at Scopus, Mo., daughter of Odney and Rosie Cook Kistner. She and Peter Crites were married Dec. 9, 1933, in Jackson, Mo. He died in 1979.
Crites was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lee Crites of Oak Ridge, Mo.; a daughter, Shirley Allen of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Nettie Welty of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and four great-great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. David Pringle officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
