DUTCHTOWN -- Funeral service for Hermina Lenora Gardiner of Dutchtown will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Gardiner, 89, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 9, 1907, at Dutchtown, daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Wagner Simpher. She and Albert Gardiner were married Oct. 25, 1925. He died March 19, 1960.

Gardiner was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Wagoner of Chaffee, Vivian LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Myrna DuBast of Titusville, Fla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
