PERRYVILLE -- Herman Joseph Winschel, 81, died Monday, June 10, 1996, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center.

He was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Perry County, son of Hugo and Caroline Wibbenmeyer Winschel.

Winschel had been a farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, its Men's Sodality and WCU.

Survivors include three sisters, Cordula Ponder and Gertrude Winschel of Perryville, Flora Winkler of St. Louis; two brothers, Adolph and Norbert Winschel of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10:30 a.m. The wake will be at 7 tonight, and rosary at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, with the Rev. Terry Borgerding officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
