Herbert Senecal

CLAREMONT, N.H. -- Herbert M. Senecal Jr., 46, of Claremont died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1961, in Burlington, Vt., son of Herbert and Carole Minard Senecal.

Senecal started school in Clarendon, Vt., and finished his education at West Rutland High School in West Rutland, Vt. He moved to Claremont and worked 13 years at Sturm-Ruger; his illness prevented him from working the past two years.

Survivors include a son, Kyle Lee of Rutland; his father and stepmother, Marge of Georgia; his mother and stepfather, Louis Shackleford of Marble Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Patricia of St. Petersberg, Fla., Alicia Bowen of Proctor, Vt.; a brother, Kelly of St. Petersburg; a stepbrother, Charles Heberlie of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, uncle, and paternal and maternal grandparents.

There will be a graveside memorial in the spring at St. Bridget-Sacred Heart Cemetery in West Rutland.

Roy Funeral Home in Claremont is in charge of arrangements.
