MORLEY -- Funeral service for Herbert Scott Burton of Morley will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Don Russell will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.
Burton, 67, died Wednesday, March 1, 1995, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 5, 1928, in London, Ark., son of Joe Hampton Pleasant and Maggie Ann Cochran Burton. He and Mary Loretta Edwards were married Sept. 1, 1950.
Burton was owner and operator of Right-Way Pest Control at Morley.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Hubert Burton of Chaffee, Stevie Burton of Morley; four daughters, Carolyn Coram of Sikeston, Linda Featherstone of Crowder, Debbie Essner of Whitewater, Lorie Daniels of Morley; his mother and stepfather, Maggie and Cleve Dodd of Chaffee; two brothers, Marvin Burton of Chaffee, Gene Dodd of Morley; two sisters, Mildred Senciboy of Chaffee, Mamie Cowger of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a grandson.
