Henry Franklin Wolfe, 80, of Allenville died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 28, 1923, at Portageville, Mo., son of Charles Ernest and Mary Ann Ourth Wolfe. He and Wanda Jewell Bishop were married Feb. 20, 1946. She died Aug. 24, 2003.
Wolfe retired as a carpenter with Jack Lopp Construction Co. in Sikeston, Mo. He was a member of Allenville Baptist Church in Allenville, DAV Chapter 16 and VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Wolfe of Cape Girardeau, Larry Wolfe of Allenville; a daughter, Kim Wolfe of Allenville; three brothers, Tom, Buck and Bobby Wolfe of Chaffee, Mo.; two sisters, Stella Tweedy and Lucille Schmitt of Chaffee; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
