SCOTT CITY -- Henry Carl Krueger, 81, of Scott City died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 22, 1917, in New Design, Ill., son of Moritz and Maime Hagiemeir Krueger. He first married Ola May Billingsley June 12, 1947. She died Dec. 28, 1959. He and Emagene Littlepage Lance were married March 20, 1966, at Scott City...

SCOTT CITY -- Henry Carl Krueger, 81, of Scott City died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 22, 1917, in New Design, Ill., son of Moritz and Maime Hagiemeir Krueger. He first married Ola May Billingsley June 12, 1947. She died Dec. 28, 1959. He and Emagene Littlepage Lance were married March 20, 1966, at Scott City.

Krueger retired from Drury Cos. in 1982. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Cape Girardeau. He moved to Scott City in 1973 from Waterloo, Ill.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors are his wife of New Bloomfield; three daughters, Mary Peters of Joshua, Texas, Carlene Straub of Scott City, Ruth Killian of New Bloomfield; a sister, Elenora Kruse of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kim Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Busby Chapel Cemetery near Goreville, Ill.
