ADVANCE, Mo. -- Henry Carl Jones Jr., 75, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in Ocala. He was born March 25, 1937, in San Pedro, Calif., to Henry Carl and Sopha Borders Jones Sr. Jones was a Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Matthews Jones of Ocala; a son, Randy Jones of Delaware, Ohio; a daughter, Teresa Adams of Ocala; three grandchildren, Rebecca Jones of Delaware, Ethan and Grace Adams of Ocala; and a sister, Ruth Jones Hill of Fort Scott, Kan.. ...

He was born March 25, 1937, in San Pedro, Calif., to Henry Carl and Sopha Borders Jones Sr.

Jones was a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Matthews Jones of Ocala; a son, Randy Jones of Delaware, Ohio; a daughter, Teresa Adams of Ocala; three grandchildren, Rebecca Jones of Delaware, Ethan and Grace Adams of Ocala; and a sister, Ruth Jones Hill of Fort Scott, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Emma Jones Pittman.

Burial was in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala.

A memorial service for friends and family will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
