SCOTT CITY -- Henry Orville Goodale, 76, of Bagdad, Ariz., formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, April 18, 1996, at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott, Ariz.
He was born May 1, 1919, in Fulton County, Ky., son of Hattie Frank and Jessie Belle Carter Goodale. He and Pauline Jones were married Dec. 15, 1952.
Goodale had worked at West Lake Quarry. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Goodale of Kelso, Frank Goodale of Bagdad, Greg Goodale of St. Louis; a daughter, Marsha Lynn of Scott City; a brother, Ansel Goodale of Sikeston; a sister, Donna Chapman of Zeeland, Mich., and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
