JACKSON -- Henry C. Vasterling, 99, of Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home. He was born Jan. 23, 1894 at Burfordville, son of Henry Vasterling and Christine Reinecke. He married Anna Reitman on Dec. 28, 1929. She died on June 27, 1988...

JACKSON -- Henry C. Vasterling, 99, of Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

He was born Jan. 23, 1894 at Burfordville, son of Henry Vasterling and Christine Reinecke.

He married Anna Reitman on Dec. 28, 1929. She died on June 27, 1988.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Three sisters, one brother and two half brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Haynes Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. He had resided in the nursing home since 1984.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Donald Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at noon Friday at the funeral home.
