PUXICO -- Henry Americus Ferguson, 93, died Friday, May 5, 1995, at the Greenville Health Care Center.
He was born in Americus, Ga., July 16, 1901, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ferguson.
He lived most of his life in St. Louis, where he worked as a ticket agent for the Terminal Railroad Association.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Ferguson of Piedmont; four sons, Marvin W. Ferguson of Dexter, Eugene Ferguson of St. Louis, H. Leroy Ferguson of Bridgeton, and Vernon E. Ferguson of St. Peters; a daughter, Edna M. Dexter of San Ramon, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery in St. Louis.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Monday.
