SIKESTON -- Helene C. Cordahl, 85, of Sikeston, died Sunday, March 1, 1992, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born May 16, 1906, in Deering, N.D., daughter of Ludwig and Anna Haroldson Anderson. She married Ole Cordahl in 1931, who died in 1938. She then married Abel Beaton in 1961, who died in 1975...

SIKESTON -- Helene C. Cordahl, 85, of Sikeston, died Sunday, March 1, 1992, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born May 16, 1906, in Deering, N.D., daughter of Ludwig and Anna Haroldson Anderson. She married Ole Cordahl in 1931, who died in 1938. She then married Abel Beaton in 1961, who died in 1975.

Cordahl was a member of a Lutheran church in Deering.

Survivors include a son, Chester Cordahl of Sikeston; a sister, Norma Schrader of Osnabrook, N.D.; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and two half sisters.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. There is no visitation.

Funeral service will be Friday at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot, N.D. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at Deering.
