Helen A. Hirsch Workman, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born May 31, 1905, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Christian and Christina Maevers Hirsch. She was married to Luther Workman. He preceded her in death.

Workman graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and was a member of the Federation of Women's clubs, California Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Wednesday Club, Garden Club and numerous card clubs.

Survivors include a brother, Ralph Hirsch.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m., today, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral service will be the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Miles White officiating. Burial will be in the Lorimier Cemetery.
