CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Helen Eva Nance, 96, of Chaffee died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1904, in Golconda, Ill., daughter of Francis Otho and Etta Mae Minner Hanna. She and Luther Nance were married on Oct. 31, 1921. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1978...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Helen Eva Nance, 96, of Chaffee died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 18, 1904, in Golconda, Ill., daughter of Francis Otho and Etta Mae Minner Hanna. She and Luther Nance were married on Oct. 31, 1921. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1978.

She was a member of the Assemblies of God.

Survivors include five nephews, five nieces, and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
