SIKESTON -- Helen Magdaline Dumey, 76, of Sikeston died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994, at her home.
She was born June 2, 1918, in St. Louis, the daughter of Pauline Welter Menz. She married Jim Dumey Sr. on Sept. 12, 1942, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death Oct. 10, 1980.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church and the Daughters of Isabella in Sikeston. She also was a member of the Extension Club of McMullin.
Survivors include a son, Jim Dumey Jr. of Sikeston; two daughters, Diane Verble of Vanduser and Donna Evans of Hamlin, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where Father Robert Schumacher and the Daughters of Isabella will conduct the recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Francis Xavier Church with Msgr. William Stanton officiating, and Father Amel Shibley assisting. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley.
