Helen Juanita Crites, 93, of Cape Girardeau went to be with our Lord on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Cape Girardeau to Roy and Tava Brown Holshouser. She and Lindle O. Crites were married June 5, 1948, in Cape Girardeau. He passed away Aug. 2, 2008.
Juanita was a devoted housewife; her joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Joan (Ken) Seabaugh and Linda (Ken) Martin, both of Cape Girardeau, Judy (Terry) Parker of Jackson and Nancy (Kevin) Fadler of Pocahontas; one son, Randy (Janet) Crites of Jackson; loving niece, Carolyn Jo Trowbridge of McClure, Illinois; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lindle O. Crites; sister, Cecil White; and grandson, Chris Johnson.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
