Helen Hightower

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Helen Lee Hightower, 61, of Mounds died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at her home.

She was born Aug. 13, 1947, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Bernard and Helen LeVan Hightower.

Hightower was a caregiver.

Survivors include two brothers, David Hightower of Murray, Ky., and Bernard Hightower of Aurora, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
