HELEN CROCKETT

SIKESTON -- Helen Crockett, 78, of Sikeston died Sunday, Sept. 14, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 18, 1919, in Vincennes, Ind., daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth Seals. She and John Crockett were married June 20, 1957, at Shawneetown, Ill.

Crockett moved to Sikeston 20 years ago from Vincennes. She was a member of Parker Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include two sons, Clyde Ammerman Jr. of Vincennes, Charles Ammerman of Wilmington, N.C.; three daughters, Hazel Ashcraft of Sikeston, Cindy McGregor of Vincennes, Johnetta Ward of Wilmington; 26 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jake Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.
