Heather Nicole Vails died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1992, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

She was born earlier that day at the medical center, daughter of Danny Gene and Peggy Yvonne Edwards Vails of Jacksonville.

Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Danny Jr. and Jason Vails of the home; paternal grandparents, Roy and Genice Vails of Dexter; maternal grandparents, Ben and Sandra Edwards of Cape Girardeau; paternal great-grandmother, Ora Kirkpatrick of Bernie, and maternal great-grandmother, Charlotte Barnett of Cape Girardeau.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. J.C. Mattox officiating.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
