HAZEL PIRTLE

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Hazel Pirtle of Paducah, Ky., will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Eugene Williams will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.

Mrs. Pirtle, 80 years old, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1991, at Parkview Convalescent Center in Paducah.

She was born Nov. 18, 1910, at Mounds, daughter of Ed and Nancy Alice Caveness Boren. She married Olen Thomas Pirtle, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pirtle was a member of First Baptist Church here.

Survivors include three sons, James Pirtle of Paducah, Robert Pirtle of Cottontown, Tenn., Dennis Pirtle of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Nancy Swanson of Louisville, Ky., Joyce Foltz of St. Louis, Mary Martin of St. Charles; a sister, Cecil Curtner of Paducah; 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
