PUXICO -- Hazel L. Kitchen, 84, of Puxico, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 1995, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born July 11, 1911, in Advance, daughter of John and Alice May Nolen Lowe. She and Reuben Franklin Kitchen were married Oct. 23, 1926, in Poplar Bluff. He died Oct. 1, 1994.
Kitchen had lived in the Leora, Advance and Puxico communities until moving to Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1941. She returned to Puxico in 1973. She was a member of the Church of God in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosie Holsinger of Poplar Bluff, Hulda Freeman of Dixon, Carolyn Robinson of Bend, Ore.; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kent Miller of Poplar Bluff officiating. Burial will be in Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico.
