VIENNA, Ill. -- Hazel L. Jones, 66, of Route 3, Vienna, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1992, at Marion Memorial Hospital in Marion. She was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Cypress, Ill., the daughter of John and Bertie Alsip Penrod. She married Arthur C. "Bud" Jones on Nov. 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1991...

VIENNA, Ill. -- Hazel L. Jones, 66, of Route 3, Vienna, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1992, at Marion Memorial Hospital in Marion.

She was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Cypress, Ill., the daughter of John and Bertie Alsip Penrod. She married Arthur C. "Bud" Jones on Nov. 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Angeline Collins of Vienna; two sons, Danny Jones and Leslie Jones, both of Vienna; three grandchildren; one sister, Julia Blankenship of Creal Springs; and one brother, George Penrod of Cypress.

Funeral services will begin Monday at 3 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Buncombe, with internment to follow.

Visitation will be held at the time of the services.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
