HAZEL KIEFER CRADER

Hazel M. Kiefer Crader, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 15, 1932, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Wilson James and Ella Mae Fisher Crader.

She and Rudolph Christian Kiefer were married July 4, 1953, at Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1973. She was a member of the Salvation Army 10 years.

Survivors include four sons, David Christian Kiefer of Biloxi, Miss., Cletus Wayne Kiefer and Rudolph Kiefer Jr., both of St. Louis, and Samson Lee Kiefer of Wickliffe, Ky.,; a step-son, Ivan Kiefer of Strafford, Conn.; four daughters, Judy Jane Coburn and Teresa Ann Bateman, both of Cape Girardeau, Susan Ann Townsend, Denver, and Mary Jo Kiefer, Lebanon; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Fornkohl of Chicago; a brother, Joe Crader of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Stella Norhdurft of Whitewater and Margie Joyce of Cape Girardeau; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a step-son and a step-daughter.

Friends may call at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with Capt. Robert Gauthier of Salvation Army officiating. A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Spencer Bass at Lorimier Cemetery.
