OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. - Hazel Foster, 92, of Olive Branch, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 25, 1909, at Olive Branch, daughter of David Oscar and Rosa Hannah Kelly Lipe. She married Gene Foster Dec. 1, 1928. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1969.
She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch and a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Dean Foster of Justin, Texas; a brother, Jess Lipe of South Roxana, Ill.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and until 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Carl Hester and Billy Don Heady officiating.
Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
