EAST PRAIRIE -- Hattie Mae Jeffries Nunn, 91, of East Prairie, died Friday, June 7, 1996, at the East Prairie Nursing Center. She was born Jan. 21, 1905, in Mississippi County, daughter of John and Dollie Shelton Jeffries. She and Robert Nunn were married in 1922. He died July 1, 1955...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Hattie Mae Jeffries Nunn, 91, of East Prairie, died Friday, June 7, 1996, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 21, 1905, in Mississippi County, daughter of John and Dollie Shelton Jeffries. She and Robert Nunn were married in 1922. He died July 1, 1955.

Nunn had lived in Mississippi County her entire life. She was a member of the East Prairie Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include a son, Robert Nunn Jr., of St. Charles; three daughters, Margie Jackson, Sue Bard and Jerry Williams, all of East Prairie; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Matthew Palmer will officiate, with burial in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
