CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Harvey M. Mowery of Cairo will be held at 1 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Kenneth Provines will officiate, with burial in Barlow Cemetery in Barlow, Ky.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to service time.

Mowery, 94, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, at Daystar Care Center.

He was born Oct. 14, 1899, in Union County, son of Jacob and Huldah Casper Mowery.

Mowery was a retired restaurant owner, and member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lenna, and a brother, John Mowery of Madison.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
